Hello, I’m Lucy. I am the founder and leader of The Therapeutic Coaching Academy.

I am a post graduate qualified and certified Personal and Business Coach with a level 7 Advanced Professional Diploma in Business leadership and Management, a Masters in Social Work and various other academic qualifications.

I’m certified in Personal and Business Coaching with Barefoot Coaching, in Neuro-getics Coaching with Hayley Forbes’s Frequency Imprinting Academy and as a Conscious Business Consultant with Gemma Went’s The LightHouse Academy. I’m certified in Interpersonal Neurobiology, in working with and treating Trauma (I define as a trauma informed AND trauma responsive coach) and I’ve been learning and practising Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy for over ten years and teaching coaches how to integrate TA into their work since I qualified in 2016. I’m an ICF Professionally Certified Coach.

I have been training coaches for almost a decade on behalf of leading coaching academies and before this I was training leaders across a large, national organisation as their Head of Learning and Development. I left my role in 2019 and, quite possibly due to my level 7 business and leadership qualification and my extensive leadership experience (I have been a Director of People and Culture and a Managing Director holding huge budgets and vast people resources) I was running and growing my 6 figure business by the end of that year.

Not only am I a highly qualified, trauma informed and trauma responsive, experienced and certified Personal and Business Coach, I’ve been through the whole (5 years) training as a Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist as well as banked over 10 years of supervised psychotherapy practice and I just stopped short of certifying because of a range of issues I have experienced around support from the TA community. I am a qualified clinical supervisor which I use to supervise Coaches and I bring in my expertise and knowledge as an ex Lead Social Worker for people with learning differences, neurodivergence, mental health issues and trauma.

I integrate Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, neuroscience, energetics, trauma expertise and a range of other therapeutic approaches with Personal and Business Coaching to help you to succeed in whatever way is best and most meaningful to you.

Working with me in any of my intimate, close proximity 1:1 containers will offer you the time, space, excellent coaching and psychotherapeutic process work to access and express your radical authenticity.

You will recognise, understand and resolve the ways you hold yourself back that you formed during your early childhood as ways to stay safe and survive in the times that felt hard to you back then. You will re-decide some of these choices and as a consequence you will liberate yourself from the ways that you currently show up in the world that are holding you stuck, small and not as successful as you wish.
